About the role

  • Part-time Office Coordinator keeping Benevity’s Calgary workplace welcoming, stocked, safe, and operational. Supporting reception, facilities, events, onboarding, vendors, and office logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact at reception on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, greeting Benevity-ites, guests, and candidates
  • Handle access control for the Calgary office, including access cards, visitor badges, and parking programs
  • Monitor incoming support requests through the ticketing platform
  • Maintain internal resources and keep office communications clear and current
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and package deliveries
  • Keep the office clean, presentable, seasonally decorated, and stocked with supplies, snacks, and essentials
  • Assist with logistics and catering coordination for team events, meetings, and gatherings
  • Support onboarding and offboarding tasks, workstation allocations, and light space enhancements
  • Represent the Calgary office on the Health & Safety Committee
  • Help maintain OHS compliance, serve as designated Fire Marshal, and maintain first aid supplies and emergency plans
  • Liaise with building management, vendors, and service providers regarding office needs, deliveries, and basic maintenance
  • Manage expenses, reconcile team Visa charges, and maintain records for role-related spending

Requirements

  • 1–2+ years of experience in customer service, office coordination, or hospitality
  • Ability to work consistently onsite in the Calgary office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, approximately 8 hours per day
  • Welcoming, proactive service mindset
  • Ability to juggle multiple time-sensitive tasks, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a high-growth environment
  • Familiarity with modern workplace tools, or ability to quickly learn Slack, Jira, Confluence, and G Suite
  • Ability to handle physical tasks and regularly lift 25 lbs
  • Experience with project management, health and safety protocols, or fire warden duties is a plus
