About the role

Product Owner leading discovery, scope, and weekly releases for enterprise AI engagements at Bits In Glass. Delivering measurable outcomes under fixed-fee commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

Run discovery by mapping current processes, quantifying pain and financial impact, and identifying measurable value from AI agents
Convert business problems into testable AI requirements and acceptance criteria with the AI Quality Engineer
Own outcome definitions for outcome-based contracts, including success measures, sign-off, and missed-threshold handling
Manage client-provided domain experts and escalate availability issues
Manage scope and maintain a disciplined backlog
Run weekly client demos, capture feedback, reprioritize work, and direct the delivery pod
Align business, IT, security, procurement, and legal stakeholders
Partner with the client’s change and adoption team to drive system usage
Track and report burn, risks, decisions, and benefits realization against agreed outcomes
Surface commercial risks including scope creep, weak executive sponsorship, and integration surprises
Own client relationships, scope, definition of done, and delivery outcomes for embedded enterprise engagements

3–8 years in product ownership, delivery management, or client-facing consulting
At least 2 years shipping software rather than only running programmes
Track record delivering under fixed-price or outcome-based commercial terms, where scope discipline had financial consequences
Fluency in agile delivery at a genuine weekly release cadence
Technical literacy sufficient to challenge an engineer's estimate and understand retrieval pipeline quality issues; coding is not required
Working understanding of the capabilities and limitations of LLM-based systems
Confidence to tell a client when a request is not feasible
Executive presence for steering committees with client CIOs, COOs, and business unit heads
Experience in insurance, financial services, healthcare, or a comparably regulated industry
Excellent written communication
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Willing to travel to client sites
Prior experience at a top-tier strategy consultancy, Big Four, or specialist delivery boutique is a bonus
Background as a business analyst, engineer, or data professional is a bonus
Familiarity with AI quality concepts is a bonus
Experience running engagements alongside a separate change management partner is a bonus
Bilingual English and French is a bonus

Initially hired as an employee of Bits In Glass, with intended transition to a permanent position directly with Convene AI after approximately 12–18 months, subject to business requirements and transition arrangements
Work directly with senior operators who have led AI delivery at Fortune 500 scale
