About the role

Bilingual Specialist handling mortgage quality control at BMO. Supporting quality review and ensuring vendor's underwriting practices follow BMO’s requirements with independent work.

Responsibilities

Support mortgage quality review to verify vendor's underwriting practice following BMO’s requirements
Execute work and audit files to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient service delivery
Ensure consistent, high-quality practices/work and achievement of business results
Analyze root causes of any errors discovered during underwriting to provide effective communication and coaching
Propose new solutions and think creatively
Work mostly independently and may receive broader work or accountabilities as needed

Typically, between 3 – 5 years of relevant experience
Post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
Underwriting experience of residential mortgages
Bilingual skills (English & French)
Verbal & written communication skills (English & French) - In-depth
