About the role
- Senior Security Advisor focusing on Identity Security within BrokerLink's Cybersecurity team. Ensuring strong identity governance and security controls across cloud and on-prem environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide security engineering and advisory support for initiatives
- Lead cloud security best practices and architecture reviews
- Perform security assessments for projects, third-party vendors, and acquisitions
- Lead and continuously improve identity security controls using Microsoft Entra ID
- Drive identity governance and lifecycle automation using SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC)
- Implement and operationalize Entra ID Suite capabilities
- Support identity security related work being generated from acquisitions
- Enhance vulnerability management practices
- Provide senior-level incident response support (Tier 3)
- Integrate security into DevOps workflows
- Contribute to security metrics and reporting that demonstrate control effectiveness
- Support audit and regulatory requests
- Contribute to the cybersecurity roadmap
Requirements
- Post secondary education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in Information Security with strong hands-on technical capability
- Proven expertise in cloud security architecture, security engineering, and operational security controls
- Strong experience leading or coordinating incident response, investigations, and remediation with clear communication and stakeholder management
- Demonstrated expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM) with a strong focus on Identity Security
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID
- Strong hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC)
- Experience conducting security assessments, documenting security findings, and delivering pragmatic remediation guidance
- Experience with vulnerability management and prioritization practices
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST and PCI DSS
- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
