About the role
- Freelance Japanese teacher delivering personalized online lessons for corporate clients. Coaching learners through tailored language paths, progress checks, and goal setting.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and teach 45-minute online Japanese lessons for corporate clients
- Deliver 1:1 private lessons combining language teaching and personalised coaching
- Conduct needs analyses and assess student levels
- Create bespoke learning paths
- Check student progress during lesson time
- Set clear goals
Requirements
- C2 Level of Japanese
- Valid teaching certificate such as TEFL/CELTA or related university degrees
- Experience in online teaching and providing 1:1 coaching or personalised learning support
- B2 or above in English
- Comfortable teaching presentation skills, negotiations, business email etiquette, meeting management, and multicultural communication
- Excellent communication skills to engage and teach students
- High-Speed Internet
- Modern Laptop / PC with a microphone and camera
- Must comply with local freelance/contractor regulations
