About the role

Freelance Online Language Teacher at Busuu, empowering students through language learning. Planning lessons and delivering personalized teaching experiences through online platforms.

Responsibilities

Planning, preparing, and teaching online lessons (45 minutes each) for corporate clients.
Deliver private lessons that include both language teaching and personalised coaching - conducting needs analyses, assessing levels, creating bespoke learning paths, checking progress during lesson time, and setting clear goals.
Teach online group classes that focus on active learning and communication.

C2 Level of teaching language
Valid teaching certificate such as TEFL/CELTA or related university degrees
Experience in online teaching and providing 1:1 coaching or personalised learning support
Fluency in additional languages: B1 or above in English if your teaching language is not English
B1 or above in another language if English is your teaching language
Bonus: Speaking more than two languages
Comfortable teaching: presentation skills, negotiations, business email etiquette, meeting management, multicultural communication, etc.
Excellent communication skills to engage and teach students
High-Speed Internet, Modern Laptop / PC with a microphone and camera
Must comply with local freelance/contractor regulations
