Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive, quality mental health treatment to patients in a primary care setting
Address a wide range of mental health concerns
Provide intake of physician referrals for assessment of patients
Provide care through digital health technologies
Screen patients for risk to self and others
Provide crisis management and intervention planning
Collaborate with the physician and other allied health professionals
Requirements
A master’s level degree in psychology from an accredited university
Registration and membership with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) in good standing is required
Comfort providing care through digital health technologies (e.g., telephone, video)
Experience independently assessing patients with mental health conditions
A minimum of 2 - 4 years' experience in a primary care setting is an asset
Proficiency in computers, Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
A clear Criminal Background check with Vulnerable Sector check is required
