• Support children, youth, and families across early intervention, school-aged OT/PT support, and CYSN Family Support programs
• Participate in family interviews and conduct intake visits
• Gather relevant information and assess family needs
• Help address challenges affecting access to services and supports
• Advocate for families and assist them in navigating and accessing appropriate community resources and services
• Provide educational opportunities for staff, families, and community partners
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, service systems, and diverse cultural and community groups
• Travel regularly between FVCDC locations and throughout served communities, including family homes, childcare settings, schools, community locations, and other service sites

Family Support Worker

Family Support Worker assisting children and families with assessments, advocacy, and service navigation. Supporting Fraser Valley Child Development Centre’s multidisciplinary child development programs.

• Work as part of the Assessment Clinic team, including Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Social Work, and a Pediatrician
• Provide team-based diagnostic assessments for Complex Developmental Behavioural Conditions and Autism
• Offer privately funded assessments.

Registered Psychologist – Contracted

Registered Psychologist engaged in child development assessments and diagnostics at the Fraser Valley Child Development Centre, fostering well-being and empowerment.

speech-language-pathologist

• Responsible for all aspects of caseload management using clinically accepted procedures to assess, plan and carry out speech-language programs either directly or through training caregivers and support staff
• Work collaboratively with children’s families and other professionals (including OT, PT, Infant & Child Development Consultants, Key workers and more) to determine the best array and intensity of services for children based on the goals of their families
• Deliver services to a wide range of children and youth aged birth to 18 years across several FVCDC programs, in homes, community settings, private schools and in offices

Speech Language Pathologist

Speech Language Pathologist managing caseloads using clinically accepted procedures for children and youth at Fraser Valley Child Development Centre. Collaborating with families and professionals to determine services based on family goals.
