About the role

  • Business Development Representative driving advisor engagement for CapIntel’s wealth-management software platform. Building champions, demonstrations, and enterprise sales momentum across target firms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the advisor engagement plan for each firm, aligned with the Strategic Account Executive’s account plan
  • Research target firms, identify relevant advisor groups, and build focused outreach lists
  • Execute outbound outreach across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels
  • Convert outbound engagement into advisor meetings, product demonstrations, roundtables, and workshops
  • Build relationships with advisors and understand their investment research, recommendation, proposal, and client-advice workflows
  • Identify potential champions, deepen their understanding of CapIntel, and equip them to advocate for the platform internally
  • Maintain follow-up throughout the enterprise sales process and keep CRM engagement activity current
  • Use advisor insights to strengthen account messaging, presentations, and demonstrations
  • Share recurring advisor needs and market feedback with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success

Requirements

  • Two to four years of wealth-management experience, ideally as an internal wholesaler, internal sales consultant, associate advisor, or associate financial planner
  • Practical understanding of advisor workflows and client conversations
  • Comfort with proactive outbound outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn
  • Confidence building relationships, delivering product demonstrations, and presenting to individuals and groups
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to identify genuine interest, develop champions, and create momentum
  • Persistence, curiosity, and ability to take ownership of an engagement plan
  • Excellent communication, research, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple internal teams
  • Relevant Canadian or U.S. industry credentials are an asset, including CSC, CIM, CFP, CFA, SIE, or applicable securities registrations
