About the role

  • Market Intelligence Analyst creating insights and reports for Alberta Blue Cross hybrid role. Researching market trends and collaborating on strategic planning with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Research market trends and the competitive landscape
  • Create and present reports to identify trends through visualizations
  • Support operational areas of group and individual health, dental, life and disability insurance
  • Collaborate on industry-wide reporting and analysis
  • Create dashboards and presentation decks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics and or Math
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a business environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of research methodology, data analysis, and project management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of data management applications (SAS, SQL) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is an asset
