About the role
- PixiJS developer building reusable, AI-driven slot game frameworks for iLogos Game Studios. Optimizing WebGL performance and integrating real-time APIs for gambling and iGaming projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and maintain games using PixiJS
- Work closely with designers and artists to implement animations, effects, and UI interactions
- Optimize WebGL-based games for performance, memory usage, and cross-browser compatibility
- Develop tools, frameworks, and reusable components to streamline development
- Debug and resolve rendering issues, performance bottlenecks, and cross-platform inconsistencies
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate real-time APIs and WebSockets for dynamic content
- Leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency, automation, and problem-solving
- Build and evolve a reusable slot game framework/constructor for multiple games
- Contribute to an AI-driven production pipeline for rapid slot game development and delivery
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in frontend/web development
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with PixiJS and WebGL
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Proven experience in the gambling/iGaming industry is required
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in the development workflow
- Experience optimizing WebGL applications for performance and memory usage
- Strong knowledge of game loops, animations, and tweening
- Experience with texture optimization, sprite batching, and particle systems
- Experience debugging WebGL rendering issues using tools like Spector.js
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with game networking and real-time multiplayer technologies (WebSockets, WebRTC)
- Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Lighthouse, WebGL Inspector, or PixiJS DevTools
- Experience integrating PixiJS applications with backend services and cloud APIs
- Experience developing mobile-friendly, touch-optimized experiences
- Prior experience in casual game development, interactive ads, or digital experiences
