About the role

  • QA Automation Engineer ensuring iGaming math, platform reliability, certification readiness, and server security for mobile game developers. Validating simulations, releases, APIs, and RNG compliance remotely worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end quality across the math engine, internal platform, delivery pipelines, certification-readiness, and baseline server security
  • Verify math correctness, including RTP, feature frequencies, variance, win caps, payout distributions, and unique payouts
  • Design and validate large-scale simulations from millions to billions of spins
  • Verify the engine against independent analytical oracles
  • Check determinism, reproducibility, event and round state, and edge-case behavior
  • Own regression testing when shared mechanics or calibrations change
  • Perform functional and API testing of the internal platform
  • Validate delivery to gaming platforms, including hashes, engine compatibility, money formulas, and output adapters
  • Test end-to-end flows from recipe through calibration, package, server, and game front end
  • Test CI/CD releases and auto-deploy pipelines
  • Maintain QA tracking against certification-lab requirements and prepare evidence for RNG and game certification
  • Verify regulatory compliance and run statistical test batteries and certification simulations
  • Maintain documentation for laboratories and partners
  • Perform baseline penetration testing of servers, APIs, portals, CI/CD, and secrets management
  • Validate package integrity and protection against tampering
  • Produce prioritized findings reports with remediation guidance

Requirements

  • 3+ years in QA
  • Mandatory hands-on experience in iGaming / gambling, including game math, casino, sportsbook, or RGS/provider-side experience
  • Strong foundation in probability, expected value, variance, confidence intervals, RTP, hit rate, and volatility
  • Confident REST and JSON API testing
  • Ability to read and write automated tests
  • Automation skills in at least one of Python, C#, or JavaScript
  • Intermediate-level cybersecurity knowledge
  • Understanding of OWASP Top 10
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, nmap, or Postman
  • Ability to inspect traffic and identify common web and API vulnerabilities
  • Comfortable with Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Active use of AI tools such as LLM assistants and coding copilots for testing, analysis, scripting, specification parsing, and security testing
  • Experience taking games through provider-side certification is a plus
  • Understanding of RNG certification and statistical test suites such as NIST, Diehard, or TestU01 is a plus
  • Familiarity with slot mechanics is a plus
  • OSCP, eJPT, or CEH certifications, or practical bug bounty / pentest experience, is a plus
  • Load testing and experience handling large simulation datasets is a plus
  • English for reading and correspondence with labs and partners
