About the role

  • Account Manager nurturing 1,500+ accounting-firm accounts for Caseware’s audit and financial reporting software. Driving renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and revenue growth across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture positive, long-term, strategic relationships with highest-value customers and prospects
  • Support existing accounting and audit partners across North America, focusing mainly on Canada and the Caribbean
  • Manage the mid-market accounting-firm segment
  • Oversee a portfolio of 1,500+ existing accounts
  • Manage renewals, upselling, and cross-selling
  • Establish relationships with decision-makers within large enterprises and accountant partners
  • Contact customers from marketing-generated and inbound leads, address their needs, and introduce the Caseware product suite
  • Refine renewal strategies to proactively engage clients and reduce churn
  • Provide advice and value guidance to prospects to maximize revenue opportunities
  • Collaborate with Sales and senior leadership within key accounts
  • Monitor sales goals and increase product revenue
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets through prospecting, securing meetings, and closing new business
  • Create and execute action plans involving cross-functional resources
  • Bridge Sales, Finance, and Customer Success

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a tech/SaaS sales role
  • Proven record of success in Software, SaaS, ERP, and/or Tech Sales in a quota-carrying role
  • Experience building a new territory and executing a territory plan
  • A record of consistent achievement of sales quota
  • Knowledge of forecasting revenue levels and achieving sales targets in a high-growth environment
  • Self-discipline, GSD mentality, and a strong desire to succeed
  • Background in accounting/internal audit is a strong asset
  • Must reside in Canada and be eligible to work in Canada
  • Must work in North American time zones: EST, MT, or PST
