About the role

  • Project Manager responsible for managing the deployment of PhotonAssay™ systems globally. Driving project planning, installation, and commissioning to enhance mining technology.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Process Improvement: Lead projects from initiation to handover. Develop and maintain project plans and timelines relating to the deployment of PhotonAssay™ systems. Arrange and lead meetings and take notes. Support process improvement initiatives.
  • Installation & Commissioning: Responsibility and accountability for managing the installation and commissioning process, including identification of installation sites, oversight of installation requirements, and local authorities licencing and accreditation requirements. Responsibility for product commissioning, including liaison with customers and their sub-contractors, schedule planning, and coordination of on-site and remote technical teams. Frequent travel to deployment sites, primarily within the APAC region with additional travel to other regions as project demand requires, to perform site surveys and support deployment activities. Support and manage installation and commissioning activities onsite and remotely across different time zones. Contribute to the design and implementation of systems/ processes to improve the way in which we manage deployment.
  • Team collaboration: Share knowledge and provide guidance to peers where appropriate. Contribute to a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • General Responsibilities: Support the ongoing development of a strong OH&S culture. Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary qualification in project management, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar delivery-focused role.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Canada and internationally, including to remote project locations and mine sites, subject to applicable travel and site-access requirements.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project requirements.
  • Flexible, hands-on approach with a willingness to support a broad range of tasks, including work outside the traditional scope of the role when required.
