About the role

  • Senior Product Manager shaping Clio’s accounting integrations for mid-market law firms. Owning product strategy, compliance, and seamless financial data flows across QuickBooks, Xero, and Clio.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for accounting integrations
  • Balance compliance requirements, firm needs, and connected-platform capabilities and constraints
  • Own discovery and definition across the integration portfolio
  • Determine what data moves, in which direction, how often, and what constitutes a complete integration
  • Partner with Design, Engineering, and Data on features, metrics, feedback loops, and success criteria
  • Build relationships with firm administrators, bookkeepers, accountants, and managing partners
  • Champion compliance and business insight needs
  • Translate accounting concepts and regulatory requirements into clear product decisions
  • Collaborate with Billing, Payments, Reporting, and Platform teams
  • Partner with GTM, Customer Success, and Compliance stakeholders to drive adoption and reduce customer friction
  • Communicate roadmap and trade-offs across technical and executive audiences
  • Maintain and improve QuickBooks Online and Xero integrations
  • Deliver new accounting integrations and set portfolio strategy
  • Ensure billing, time tracking, and payments integrate cleanly with accounting systems and remain synchronized

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience
  • Meaningful experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in FinTech, accounting software, or business operations tools
  • Working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals, including double-entry bookkeeping, reconciliation, trust accounting rules, and financial reporting
  • Experience applying design thinking and business process analysis to complex workflows
  • Exceptional communication skills, including presenting strategy to executives and discussing technical requirements with developers
  • Proven ability to work across and align multiple teams and functions
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to demonstrate impact on important metrics
  • Regular customer engagement and ability to incorporate customer feedback into decisions
  • Experience building enterprise-grade integrations
  • Bonus: Experience in legal tech or an adjacent regulated industry
  • Bonus: Familiarity with trust accounting regulations or legal-specific compliance requirements
  • Bonus: Background working with accounting integrations such as QuickBooks and Xero, or building FinTech data pipelines
  • Bonus: Experience launching AI-first features in a high-trust or compliance-sensitive context
