About the role
- Regional mortgage business development manager growing CMLS Financial’s Greater Vancouver broker network. Structuring residential deals, supporting brokers, and driving territory funding growth.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain sustainable relationships with top-performing mortgage brokers in the Greater Vancouver Area (GVA)
- Provide expert guidance on CMLS products and credit policies
- Deliver on-site support, training, and troubleshooting within the broker network
- Monitor application lifecycles and collaborate with internal underwriting and risk teams
- Structure complex residential applications to meet credit standards
- Own territory funding targets and drive consistent growth and high-quality originations
Requirements
- Strong background in residential mortgage underwriting or credit analysis
- Proactive mindset focused on capturing market share and scaling the territory
- Team-oriented approach and understanding of partnership between sales, underwriting, and risk
- Robust, existing network within the Vancouver Island broker community
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable access to a vehicle
- Possession of a Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Agent license will be considered an asset
