About the role

  • Senior marketing leader shaping B2B agriculture and commercial energy marketing for Western Canadian Co-ops. Leading strategy, budgets, stakeholder alignment, and a high-performing marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Co-op's B2B marketing strategy to grow the brand, products, and services through increased reach, lead generation, and sales
  • Collaborate with marketing peers and commodity teams on strategic marketing plans
  • Use insights to challenge the status quo and identify untapped opportunities
  • Act as a strategic partner to commodity leaders and stakeholders
  • Champion a unified voice across B2B business lines, including Energy, Ag Solutions, and Home & Building
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to deliver consistent, customer-centric marketing
  • Manage marketing budgets in alignment with organizational KPIs and long-term business growth
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of marketing professionals
  • Build team capability, drive accountability, and foster collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Report to the Director, Commodity Marketing
  • Work with business leaders to deliver customer-centric marketing programs and campaigns supporting B2B and B2F sales strategies
  • Support local Co-ops and FCL with marketing for farmers, commercial operators, fleet owners, contractors, and rural communities

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience in marketing, with an emphasis on B2B or Agriculture marketing
  • Strong understanding of the agriculture industry through lived experience, professional experience, or both
  • Experience leading a team of direct reports
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field; a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
  • Affiliation with marketing and communications professional bodies considered an asset
  • Interest in marketing technology trends
  • Knowledge of project management principles
  • Successful candidate based within commuting distance of Saskatoon, SK, although other arrangements may be considered
  • May be required to complete a criminal record check in accordance with FCL policies
