About the role
- Data Analytics & BI Analyst building dashboards, models, and reporting for CoVet’s AI tools supporting veterinary professionals. Partnering across teams to improve business decisions and data quality.
Responsibilities
- Pull together and analyze data from multiple systems and sources to create a reliable, consolidated view of business performance
- Build and maintain scalable dashboards and reporting for MBRs/QBRs, Sales, Marketing, funnel performance, customer trends, and product usage
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business questions and identify meaningful metrics
- Develop and maintain data models and reporting structures
- Establish data validation and quality-control processes
- Work with Data Engineers and technical partners to identify data gaps and improve data collection and availability
- Translate complex datasets into clear insights, trends, and actionable recommendations
- Query and manipulate data using SQL and other analytical tools
- Build dashboards and visualizations for teams and leaders
- Define, document, and standardize business metrics and reporting methodologies
- Investigate data discrepancies and improve data quality
- Support recurring executive and leadership reporting, including monthly and quarterly business reviews
- Respond to ad hoc analytical requests and turn repeat questions into scalable reporting solutions
- Continuously improve dashboards, reporting workflows, and analytical processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, business analytics, or a related role, ideally within a SaaS or technology environment
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large or complex datasets
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar platforms
- Experience building dashboards and reports using BI and visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, Metabase, or similar
- Strong understanding of data modeling, metric definitions, and reporting best practices
- Experience combining and reconciling data across multiple business systems such as CRM, product analytics, marketing, billing, finance, or customer success platforms
- Strong analytical judgment and ability to determine meaningful information
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for data accuracy and reliability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to explain data and insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and business teams
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
