Crib Attendant managing tools, consumables, and equipment for Coulson Aviation. Supporting hangar efficiency and worldwide aerial firefighting operations from Port Alberni.
Responsibilities
Maintain an organized tool crib, hangar, and surrounding work areas to support safe and efficient operations
Issue tools, equipment, and consumable materials to employees and accurately record their movement to prevent loss
Monitor consumable inventory levels, restock supplies, and report shortages or discrepancies
Ensure tools are properly controlled, stored, and maintained according to established schedules and procedures
Monitor access to the tool crib and help maintain the security of tools, equipment, and inventory
Maintain key-control records for company vehicles and ground support equipment
Restock safety supplies, including earplugs, safety glasses, and other personal protective equipment
Monitor inventory stored in flammable-material cabinets and identify expired or soon-to-expire products
Transport time-sensitive aircraft parts as a courier during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a tool crib, inventory, warehouse, stores, or similar environment is preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with inventory-control and record-keeping practices
Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory-tracking systems
Physical ability to lift and carry materials, remain standing for extended periods, and perform other physically demanding tasks
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with employees across the organization
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
Safety-focused and dependable approach to work
Familiarity with aviation terminology, procedures, or regulatory requirements is considered an asset but is not required
Ability to work onsite in Port Alberni, BC
