About the role

Mid-Market Account Executive selling Customer.io’s automated messaging platform to B2B SaaS and MarTech customers. Managing prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiations, and closing.

Responsibilities

Represent Customer.io to prospective customers and drive growth within key market segments
Build and manage a pipeline through self-sourced and SDR-supported leads
Lead the full sales process from prospecting and discovery through demonstrations and closing
Acquire new business within targeted mid-market accounts
Conduct discovery calls to understand customer challenges and goals
Position Customer.io solutions to meet customer needs
Collaborate with SDRs on lead quality feedback
Collaborate with Customer Success and Technical Support for post-sale handoff
Own and report individual sales metrics, pipeline status, and progress toward targets
Nurture relationships with mid-sized clients and uncover business needs

2+ years of experience in full-cycle B2B SaaS or MarTech sales, handling mid-market accounts
Candidates must be located in the UK, Ireland, Canada, or the USA
Proven success in new customer acquisition and closing deals within the B2B SaaS space, preferably MarTech
Familiarity with MEDDPICC or a similar sales methodology
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong ability to identify customer business needs and position relevant solutions effectively
Experience primarily handling mid-market accounts with shorter sales cycles and lower ACV deals
Ability to engage in high-volume prospecting and cold and warm outreach
Ability to manage the full sales cycle for deals typically under $50,000 ACV
Successful completion of a background check and employment verifications
