About the role

  • DTO Bilingual Trainer facilitating effective training for PBS Dealer Management Software. Delivering virtual sessions and supporting remote and onsite training in North America.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and gain a deep understanding of PBS software, as well as the training processes
  • Demonstrate strong data entry skills and perform related operational tasks
  • Independently deliver and coordinate all training sessions associated with your primary department
  • Become an autonomous, independent resource for software installations
  • Show the ability to prioritize tasks without team lead intervention
  • Handle department-assigned tickets in a timely manner
  • Provide excellent customer service by navigating the PBS Dealer Management System (DMS) effectively and presenting it clearly, while maintaining solution-focused positive relationships to meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Respond promptly to training requests from colleagues or clients
  • Document requests or issues as tickets and escalate them to responsible teams when necessary
  • Stay up to date with and maintain a strong understanding of process documentation, especially as procedures evolve within the department
  • Share knowledge with other teams to promote collective learning and skill development
  • Take initiative to deepen product knowledge and participate in cross-training when possible
  • Contribute to maintaining a collaborative, positive work environment focused on mutual support
  • Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned as part of the role

Requirements

  • Fluent in French and English (speaking, reading and writing)
  • 1–2 years of automotive dealership experience, specifically in sales
  • Strong computer skills required, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software tools is essential
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the United States up to two weeks per month; valid passport, U.S. visa (if applicable), and a valid, unrestricted driver’s license required
  • Excellent communication skills, including comfort presenting and public speaking
  • Familiarity with PBS software (major asset)
  • Experience delivering in-person and virtual training (major asset)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Exceptional documentation management skills
  • High school diploma
