About the role

  • Administrative assistant supporting Desjardins, North America's largest cooperative financial group. Coordinating management administration, meetings, budgets and executive support in a hybrid Montreal role.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out secretarial activities, including writing, layout, updating, production and linguistic revision of information documents
  • Carry out administrative tasks related to internal management, including sales follow-up, dashboards, expense accounts, inventory and material management, and performance evaluations
  • Support the manager with the management and follow-up of their agenda, calls, emails and mail
  • Prepare and attend meetings, including management committee meetings
  • Write meeting minutes and ensure follow-up
  • Participate in the logistical organization of team meetings, committees, assemblies, travel and public relations activities
  • Collaborate in preparing the annual budget and monitoring the budget during the year, including analysis and justification of variances
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to a director or manager reporting to a vice-president
  • Coordinate, plan and prioritize unit management activities
  • Interact with stakeholders and independently carry out tasks according to administrative needs

Requirements

  • Trade school diploma in a related field
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Advanced proficiency in French, both oral and written
  • Advanced proficiency in English, both oral and written
  • Effective communication and ability to tailor approach as needed
  • Customer focus, action orientation, nimble learning, planning and alignment, situational adaptability, and tech savvy
