About the role
- Part-time securities service agent helping Desjardins members and clients with investment products and account requests. Supporting investment advisors through service, administration, and business development.
Responsibilities
- Serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients
- Sell securities products and services through various distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices
- Support discretionary management, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and structured products
- Provide administrative, customer service and business development support to investment advisors and the team
- Respond to client information requests regarding accounts and products and services; conduct research and follow up as needed
- Forward requests to the appropriate person
- Help members and clients choose and use tools and channels based on their desired level of independence and automation
- Take phone calls, handle information requests and route them appropriately
- Help identify operational risks and opportunities for team improvement
Requirements
- Attestation of Collegial Studies
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
