About the role
- Programmer Analyst developing, maintaining, and optimizing Desjardins’ large-scale IT systems and infrastructure. Advising teams, resolving major incidents, and standardizing technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Advise teams on using technology to develop business solutions and help them make changes to improve delivery velocity
- Develop highly complex execution strategies, and analyze, design and document business products and solutions
- Analyze and develop software products, including design, coding, automation and test execution, while applying development, data and security best practices
- Establish and draft development methods, design patterns, procedures and IT choices
- Lead documentation writing teams preparing and delivering training to peers and users
- Collaborate with business partners and architects to understand business intentions and objectives and standardize solutions accordingly
- Identify system optimization opportunities while considering potential impacts
- Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidents
- Represent teams in dealings with executive management, partners and outside organizations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
