About the role

  • Desjardins account manager developing real estate-sector client relationships and selling financial products. Supervising and coaching account managers while balancing growth, risk, profitability and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional supervision, coordination and coaching to a designated group of account managers
  • Act as content expert for their area of expertise to a designated team of account managers
  • Initiate, develop and maintain personalized business relationships with current and potential clients
  • Promote and sell the business centre’s products and services
  • Serve as a key intermediary between the organization and members and clients
  • Ensure proper usage and updating of, as well as satisfaction with, products and services offered
  • Analyze sources of dissatisfaction and recommend potential solutions
  • Identify and analyze member and client needs, develop personalized solutions and prepare an integrated service offering
  • Negotiate applicable conditions with members and clients
  • Contribute to the skill development of a designated group of account managers
  • Recommend strategies and solutions for increased business volume, sound risk management, portfolio profitability and stronger business relationships
  • Identify business development opportunities to increase competitiveness of products and services
  • Execute promotional activities and participate in targeted public relations activities and the business community
  • Address client and member needs, seize business opportunities and refer them to the right person as needed
  • Provide sound and prudent risk management for all portfolios under their responsibility

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Adhere to all policies, practices and standards in effect, as well as the various laws governing the distribution of financial products and services
