About the role

  • Administrative Assistant supporting Desjardins financial services cooperative managers in Sherbrooke. Coordinating meetings, communications, records, events, budgets, and administrative operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support and follow up with business centre managers and other managers regarding agendas, calls, email, and mail
  • Coordinate delivery of files to management, coordinating, and other committees
  • Organize and attend meetings, record proceedings and minutes, and perform follow-ups
  • Help plan logistics for events, team and committee meetings, training seminars, phone conferences, travel, and PR activities
  • Support internal and external communications initiatives, including employee meetings and marketing and promotional activities
  • Perform administrative tasks related to sales tracking, dashboards, expense accounts, inventory and supplies, employee files, performance evaluations, billing, and budget management
  • Manage documents and update business centre files through filing, purging, and archiving
  • Perform secretarial duties including writing, formatting, updating, creating, assembling, and editing documents
  • Assist managers with research, procedural, and IT tasks

Requirements

  • Trade school diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of three ans years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Impeccable French spelling and grammar
  • Understanding of the philosophy and inner workings of a financial services cooperative
  • Knowledge of service standards
  • Knowledge of the business centre budget system
