About the role
- Communications Advisor promoting Desjardins programs through digital media and internal events. Supporting communications strategy, analysis, reporting, and vendor contract negotiation.
Responsibilities
- Promote the organization’s projects and programs by designing and developing communications and sharing them within Desjardins Group and with its members and clients
- Establish and promote the organization’s online brand image
- Create, manage and update social and digital media communications
- Serve as social media community manager
- Advise clients and partners on managing and producing internal Desjardins events
- Support more experienced professionals and help institute tools for the line of work
- Develop recommendations, solutions and action plans based on organizational objectives and priorities
- Conduct research and preliminary analysis and develop initial outlines of tools and processes
- Diagnose issues, challenges and needs related to internal event management and production
- Help clients in areas related to the field of expertise
- Help develop and implement objectives, solutions, policies, programs and action plans
- Analyze data, assist with studies, develop recommendations and prepare reports
- Negotiate standardized contracts with preferred external providers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or in progress
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
