- Senior communications advisor promoting Desjardins Group projects, policies and programs. Managing digital communications, social media, strategic initiatives and stakeholder communications.
Responsibilities
- Promote the organization’s projects, policies and programs by designing and developing communications
- Share communications within Desjardins Group and with its members and clients
- Establish and promote the organization’s online brand image
- Create, manage and update social and digital media communications
- Serve as social media community manager
- Lead complex and innovative development projects and strategic initiatives involving print media, linguistic services and speechwriting
- Lead specialized development projects, initiatives and activities impacting the entire organization
- Advise clients and partners on positioning, planning, development, execution and monitoring of strategic communications projects and initiatives
- Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs
- Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
- Represent the unit before decision-making bodies
- Represent Desjardins’s position when making agreements with external partners and organizations
- Serve as specialist advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for decision-making bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Advanced proficiency in French communication, both oral and written
- Occasional availability outside regular working hours, particularly for Board of Directors meetings held in the evening (5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
