About the role

  • Project delivery manager coordinating complex application and technology initiatives for Desjardins, North America's largest cooperative financial group. Managing budgets, timelines, risks, testing and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

  • Direct material, time, IT and human resources on cross-sector projects to meet objectives on time and on budget
  • Analyze project feasibility and opportunities, develop action plans, define milestones and coordinate project teams
  • Supervise and coordinate contributors delivering the application and technology component of innovative, large-scale projects
  • Ensure timelines, budgets, agreements, quality of deliverables and contributor performance are respected
  • Ensure availability of technology platforms needed to deliver projects and operate solutions after delivery
  • Plan, prioritize and coordinate work to meet objectives
  • Serve as specialist and lead teams and decision-making bodies
  • Plan deliverables for the application and technology component
  • Estimate project costs, considering issues, complexity, practitioners and tie-ins with other projects
  • Coordinate deliverables and ensure performance aligns with priorities
  • Analyze risks and impacts and develop mitigation strategies
  • Manage change requests, solution testing and implementation strategy with the project leader
  • Ensure availability of the application layer of infrastructure platforms

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Extensive knowledge of the specialty area
  • Ability to analyze complex projects and understand organizational and business-line context
  • Interpersonal savvy and strong coordination skills
  • Ability to lead teams and decision-making bodies
