About the role
- Project delivery manager coordinating large-scale application and technology projects for Desjardins. Managing teams, budgets, timelines, risks, testing, and strategic delivery.
Responsibilities
- Direct material, time, IT and human resources on cross-sector projects to meet objectives on time and on budget
- Analyze project feasibility and opportunities, develop action plans, define milestones and coordinate project teams
- Supervise and coordinate contributors involved in the application and technology component of highly innovative, large-scale, multi-sector projects
- Ensure timelines, budgets, deliverable quality, contributor performance and engagement are maintained
- Plan, prioritize and coordinate work to meet objectives
- Lead, influence and serve as expert to teams, senior management and decision-making bodies
- Plan application and technology component deliverables and estimate project costs
- Identify project-specific standards, methods and procedures
- Coordinate deliverables and ensure agreements, budgets and timelines are respected
- Analyze risks and impacts and develop mitigation strategies
- Manage change requests, solution testing and application and technology strategies with the project leader
- Ensure availability of the application layer of infrastructure platforms
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
- Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
