About the role

  • Desjardins project delivery manager coordinating large-scale application and technology projects. Managing budgets, timelines, risks, contributors, and technology deliverables.

Responsibilities

  • Direct material, time, IT and human resources on cross-sector projects to meet objectives on time and on budget
  • Analyze project feasibility and opportunities, develop action plans, define milestones and coordinate project teams
  • Supervise and coordinate contributors involved in the application and technology component of innovative, large-scale projects involving multiple sectors
  • Ensure timelines, budgets, quality of deliverables, performance and engagement of contributors are respected
  • Plan, prioritize and coordinate work to meet objectives
  • Lead, influence and serve as expert to teams, senior management and decision-making bodies
  • Plan deliverables and estimate project costs for the application and technology component
  • Identify project-specific standards, methods and procedures
  • Coordinate deliverables and ensure agreements, budgets and timelines are respected
  • Analyze risks and impacts and develop mitigation strategies
  • Manage change requests, solution testing and strategies with the project leader
  • Ensure availability of the application layer of infrastructure platforms

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • PMP Certification
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Action oriented, Customer Focus, Differences, Interpersonal Savvy, Nimble learning, Plans and aligns
