About the role

  • General Management Assistant supporting Desjardins caisse leadership in Rimouski. Coordinating schedules, strategic documents, governance meetings, communications, records, and administrative processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the general manager and all managers of a large caisse with administrative support and secretarial tasks
  • Oversee the planning and coordination of management activities
  • Manage and follow up on the general manager's schedule, phone calls, emails, and mail
  • Process requests according to established priorities and general instructions
  • Consult, consolidate, and assemble strategic documents; establish priorities and make recommendations
  • Coordinate delivery of files to management and governance committees
  • Prepare for and attend meetings, take minutes, and follow up on arising business
  • Organize logistics for team meetings, committees, general meetings, training, conferences, travel, and public relations activities
  • Support internal caisse communications
  • Perform internal management administrative tasks, including sales tracking, scorecard maintenance, expense monitoring, inventory and equipment management, and performance evaluations
  • Manage documents and update general management records in accordance with practices and regulations
  • Perform secretarial duties including drafting, formatting, updating, creating, and revising information documents
  • Support the general manager in retrieving information, carrying out business processes, and using information systems

Requirements

  • Trade school diploma in a related field
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
