About the role
- Desjardins IT interns contributing to software development, QA, business analysis, governance, and infrastructure operations. Hybrid roles based in Montréal or Lévis, Quebec.
Responsibilities
- Development intern: Participate in production strategy development; contribute to application and program analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation.
- Quality assurance intern: Participate in QA testing, identify test scenarios, implement the environment, execute scenarios and communicate results.
- Business analysis intern: Analyze work-related issues, conduct research and preliminary analysis, develop initial tool and process outlines, and advise assigned clients and partners.
- Business intelligence intern: Analyze and valorize member and client data, develop visualization reports, and make recommendations for internal partners.
- Functional analyst intern: Define functional specifications with the product owner and project team; support solution delivery, maintenance and updates.
- IT governance and compliance intern: Develop governance and compliance approaches, document internal processes and procedures, verify evidence for general IT controls, follow up with compliance officers and monitor files.
- System administrator intern: Configure, administer, maintain and upgrade computer networks, management systems and servers.
- Platform administrator intern: Ensure automated deployment success and enhance security posture and infrastructure operations.
Requirements
- Your educational institution must credit or certify your internship toward a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in an appropriate discipline.
- Relevant work/internship experience
