About the role
- Desjardins IT interns develop, test, analyze, and administer technology solutions. Opportunities span software, business intelligence, governance, compliance, networks, and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Development interns: participate in production strategy development; contribute to application and program analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation
- Quality assurance interns: participate in QA testing, identify unit, functional, system and non-regression test scenarios, implement test environments, execute scenarios and communicate results
- Business analysis interns: analyze issues, conduct research and preliminary analysis, develop initial outlines for tools and processes, and advise assigned clients and partners
- Business intelligence interns: analyze and valorize member and client data, develop visualization reports, and make recommendations to internal partners
- Functional analyst interns: define functional specifications with the product owner and project team; support solution delivery, maintenance and updates
- IT governance and compliance interns: develop governance and compliance approaches, document internal processes and procedures, ensure evidence quality for general IT controls, follow up with compliance officers and monitor files
- System administrator interns: configure, administer, maintain and upgrade computer networks, management systems and servers
- Platform administrator interns: ensure successful automated deployments and contribute to security posture and infrastructure operations
Requirements
- Your educational institution must credit or certify your internship toward a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in an appropriate discipline
- Relevant work/internship experience
