About the role

  • IT Platform Administrator supporting development teams on data de-identification projects at Desjardins Group. Configuration and maintenance of data protection applications within a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out data protection services
  • Configure the various components of the de-identification tool and provide support for installing, configuring and maintaining the data protection application platform
  • Participate in rollouts and release activities
  • Operate, monitor and take action to ensure stable service for the platform by using advanced web and network analysis tools
  • Analyze, diagnose and resolve operational issues in collaboration with the development and infrastructure teams
  • Keep inventories, technical documentation and operating procedures up to date
  • Help automate recurring tasks PKI processes and continually improve processes
  • Produce indicators, statistics and operational reports
  • Help developers execute commands and find solutions when there are production issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in platform administration
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Knowledge of continuous delivery products: GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, SonarQube, Concourse CI, Vault
  • Knowledge of Windows environments, managed file transfers, and relational databases
  • Knowledge of the web environment (HTTP protocol, web servers, reverse gateways, web services, etc.)
  • Knowledge of monitoring, alert and logging tools: Dynatrace, Splunk, ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of Agile environments: Jira, Confluence
  • Knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2 (Toad), and ETL
  • Occasional availability required to take part in rollout activities outside of normal working hours, particularly in the evening or during the night, depending on operational needs
