About the role
- Personal Finance Advisor guiding Desjardins members and businesses on investments, loans, insurance, and financial strategies. Building trusted relationships while balancing client satisfaction, profitability, and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain lasting and trusting business relationships with members and clients
- Listen to members’ and clients’ needs, offer advice suited to their financial situation, and help them choose appropriate solutions to meet financial goals
- Work closely with individual members and businesses
- Recommend investments, loans, and insurance products
- Balance member/client satisfaction, business objectives, profitability, and sound and prudent risk management
- Work with partners and experts to design integrated strategies
- Advise members and clients on the best strategies and identify expected results
- Manage business relationships, assess satisfaction and service quality, follow up, and identify areas for improvement
- Stay up-to-date on the financial services industry, market trends, and best practices
- Participate in outreach activities and represent the caisse in the community
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers
- Knowledge of French is required
