About the role
- Programmer Analyst developing, maintaining, and optimizing complex software and infrastructure solutions for Desjardins. Leading deployments, testing, incident resolution, and IT standardization in hybrid Lévis role.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex execution strategies and analyze, design, and document business products and solutions
- Analyze and develop software products, including design, coding, test automation, and test execution
- Apply development, data, and security best practices
- Write procedures, guidelines, and development methods
- Develop documentation for peer and user training
- Co-create and standardize solutions with business partners and architects
- Identify system optimization opportunities and assess potential impacts
- Analyze, diagnose, follow up on, and resolve highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidents
- Lead software package installations and testing
- Lead in-house application deployment
- Coordinate with stakeholders across different fields
- Plan, prioritize, and coordinate work to meet schedules and objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Intermediate knowledge of English required due to the nature of the duties, work tools, or interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
- Technology knowledge and ability to analyze, design, configure, develop, maintain, and upgrade software products
- Knowledge of development, data, and security best practices
- Ability to analyze client and partner requirements and recommend appropriate IT solutions
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate work
- Ability to solve highly complex problems through comprehensive analysis
- Ability to lead and serve as a systems specialist
