About the role

  • Systems programmer analyst developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Desjardins IT software and infrastructure solutions. Analyzing complex incidents and coordinating standardized technology solutions with business partners and architects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop complex execution strategies, and analyze, design and document business products and solutions
  • Analyze and develop software products by designing, coding, automating and running tests
  • Apply development, data and security best practices
  • Write procedures, guidelines and development methods
  • Help develop documentation for training peers and users
  • Cocreate with business partners and architects to standardize solutions
  • Identify system optimization opportunities while considering impacts
  • Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidents
  • Lead software package installations and testing
  • Lead in-house application deployment
  • Analyze client and partner requirements and recommend appropriate IT solutions
  • Plan, prioritize and coordinate work to meet schedules and objectives
  • Act as a systems specialist for the team, clients and stakeholders
  • Coordinate frequently with stakeholders across different fields

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Technology knowledge and ability to anticipate innovation
  • In-depth, extensive knowledge of the line of work
  • Action oriented, Complexity, Customer Focus, Differences, Nimble learning, Plans and aligns, Tech savvy
