About the role

  • Desjardins senior advisor driving strategic business development, sales support, and client retention. Negotiating partnerships and tailored solutions for complex member and client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve and maintain business relationships with members and clients
  • Sell products and services through multiple distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices
  • Lead and influence clients and practitioners on sales and service development projects, initiatives and activities that significantly impact the entire organization
  • Boost the organization’s development and profitability while retaining clients and stakeholders and ensuring their satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain business partnerships with prestige and key clients who have complex, diverse needs
  • Analyze highly complex problems and develop and implement personalized solutions tailored to client needs
  • Serve as expert for the unit, members and clients
  • Represent the unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies
  • Represent Desjardins and enter the organization into important agreements with clients
  • Establish and negotiate product and service terms
  • Advise practitioners and help evaluate business and partnership opportunities
  • Help members, clients and stakeholders position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic initiatives
  • Develop retention tactics and strategies
  • Monitor the industry to understand and anticipate trends and make recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
