About the role
- Senior IT architecture advisor designing complex enterprise solutions for Desjardins Group. Guiding strategic initiatives across data, applications, security and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an expert advisor on application solutions and operations architecture and as an integrator for delivery teams
- Advise business partners and stakeholders on planning, development, execution and monitoring of strategic initiatives
- Organize, manage and deliver guidance on specific technical subjects requiring stakeholder consensus
- Design IT solutions that meet business needs
- Develop and update policies, standards, architecture targets and supporting foundations
- Identify and analyze potential IT solutions and issues
- Report major issues and establish guidelines and recommendations for decision-making bodies
- Represent the unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies
- Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external partners and organizations
- Serve as an expert advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Expertise across several IT fields, including data, applications, security and infrastructure
