About the role
- Senior IT architecture advisor designing enterprise solutions for Desjardins Group. Advising stakeholders across data, applications, security, and infrastructure on complex strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design IT solutions for large-scale projects and programs using Desjardins Group’s architecture targets and shared platforms
- Ensure consistency with organizational structure, current and future needs, and compatibility with existing architecture
- Lead and influence business partners and stakeholders on innovative, complex strategic initiatives related to solution architecture
- Provide expertise across data, applications, security, and infrastructure
- Recommend IT development and implementation strategies compliant with architecture targets
- Produce specialized deliverables for highly complex projects and initiatives
- Serve as an expert advisor on application solutions and operations architecture and as an integrator for delivery teams
- Advise, plan, develop, execute, and monitor strategic initiatives
- Organize, manage, and deliver guidance on technical subjects requiring stakeholder consensus
- Develop and update policies, standards, architecture targets, and supporting foundations
- Identify and analyze potential IT solutions and issues; report major issues
- Establish guidelines and make recommendations to decision-making bodies and committees
- Represent the unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies
- Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter agreements with external partners and organizations
- Serve as a resource person and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Proficiency of French is required
