About the role
- Senior P&C insurance advisor leading complex strategic projects for Desjardins. Advising stakeholders and shaping insurance policies, programs, and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic property and casualty insurance projects and initiatives
- Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs to support strategic property and casualty insurance projects and initiatives
- Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
- Represent the unit before decision-making bodies
- Represent Desjardins’s position when making agreements with external partners and organizations
- Provide advice and support on the rollout and integration of programs, systems, products and management tools
- Lead complex and innovative development projects and strategic initiatives
- Serve as specialist advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach for decision-making bodies
- Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple fields
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience

- Intermediate advanced proficiency of English and French due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
