About the role
- Senior project management advisor guiding Desjardins’ strategic cross-sector initiatives. Advising leaders, coordinating complex projects, and shaping organizational policies and business directions.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients and partners to position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives
- Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs supporting strategic projects and initiatives
- Identify, analyze and diagnose major issues and make recommendations to decision-making bodies
- Represent the unit before senior management committees and decision-making bodies
- Represent and negotiate on behalf of Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with external partners and organizations
- Direct material, time, IT and human resources on cross-sector projects to meet objectives on time and on budget
- Analyze project feasibility and opportunities, develop action plans, define milestones and coordinate project teams
- Lead and influence development projects and complex, innovative strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors
- Develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions
- Advise senior management and decision-making bodies as an expert advisor, subject matter expert, resource person and coach
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
