About the role

  • UX Designer shaping Desjardins members' and clients' digital experiences through user research, journeys, testing and marketing-oriented design. Leading cross-functional initiatives across Lévis and Montréal.

Responsibilities

  • Define and enrich the user experience of members and clients on different virtual platforms
  • Advise as a specialist and subject matter expert on user journeys and digital ecosystem experiences
  • Lead stakeholders on development projects and complex strategic initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve member and client experience, define business objectives and validate user needs
  • Define user journeys and desired user experience based on research and analyses
  • Design mock-ups, user personas, functional specifications and information architecture
  • Create experiments and test solutions to understand digital client behaviours and improve platform performance
  • Monitor trends, identify improvement opportunities and anticipate organizational impacts
  • Develop digital design and user-focused design practices
  • Facilitate co-creation between UI, product management and IT development teams
  • Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives
  • Make recommendations on initiatives and projects with high operational and conceptual complexity
  • Interact with stakeholders across fields to understand issues and influence user-experience decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written
  • Ability to work with or interact with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
