About the role
- Mobile Service Technician performing maintenance and repairs on rental equipment for The Home Depot. Requires mechanical aptitude and customer focus across assigned stores in Huntsville and North Bay.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and minor repairs on large rental equipment
- Ensuring fleet is rental-ready, safe and clean for stores and customers
- Respond to customer service calls and resolve equipment concerns in the field
- Follow all safety, transportation, towing, PPE, Hazmat, and driver log requirements
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in equipment rental or mechanical service
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid provincial driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Able to read technical manuals, schematics, and parts catalogues
- Comfortable with smartphones, tablets, laptops, and mobile apps
- Flexible for shifts, weekends, or after-hours work as needed
- Authorized to work in Canada and pass a background check
