About the role
- Bilingual project sales specialist supporting Home Depot customer projects from start to finish. Managing sales conversion, installation orders, follow-ups, and customer relationships remotely.
Responsibilities
- Support customer projects from start to finish, including expediting installation and special orders
- Work closely with stores, vendors, service providers and field teams
- Provide high-level customer service using substantial product knowledge and advanced selling skills
- Assess customer needs, guide decisions and provide timely follow-ups to drive sales conversion
- Manage inbound leads, sales pipeline, measurements, progress tracking and conversion to sale
- Own the customer experience and overcome objections using available tools and resources
- Consultatively sell products and services by communicating benefits and matching solutions to customer requirements
- Balance multiple complex projects while meeting customer experience, process and timeline expectations
- Support sales retention and recovery processes
- Build relationships with customers and internal partners
- Conduct follow-ups through customers’ preferred communication methods
- Communicate project scope, timelines and completion steps
- Create sales packages outlining project scope, timelines, relevant documents and expected outcomes
- Identify process improvement opportunities and propose solutions to leaders
- Report to the Contact Centre Supervisor
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (English section)
- Baccalauréat ou diplôme d’études collégiales équivalent dans un champ d’études pertinent au poste (French section)
- External candidates: 3–5 years of customer experience required, preferably in a sales-driven environment, call centre operations or similar experience
- Internal candidates must fulfill minimum time-in-position of 1 year
- Analytical skills with ability to conceptualize a variety of different outcomes
- Exceptional organizational, time management and follow-up skills
- Relationship-building and networking skills for internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Experience with SAP ERP & COM is a definite asset
- Ability to work independently with minimum direction and in a team environment
- Daytime and evening availability, with shifts potentially scheduled any day of the week
- Bilingual English and French customer support capability
