About the role

Senior iOS Engineer building scalable mobile products for EarnIn, an earned wage access company. Leading architecture, feature development, performance, APIs, testing, and data-informed improvements.

Responsibilities

Drive the development and implementation of complex product features impacting customer experience and business outcomes
Architect, lead, and optimize mobile infrastructure for scalability, performance, and reliability
Collaborate with backend engineers to define and evolve robust, efficient, and well-documented APIs
Champion engineering best practices for code quality, system design, and operational excellence
Identify and drive strategic technical initiatives, providing architectural guidance and problem-solving
Architect and oversee unit, integration, and UI automation testing strategies
Define and analyze key performance indicators using advanced analytics to inform product enhancements

Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
4+ years of relevant industry experience, significantly focused on mobile development and leading complex projects
Expert-level proficiency in Swift and modern iOS paradigms, including Combine, Swift Concurrency, and SwiftUI
Extensive understanding of iOS application architectures, including MVVM, MVP, and VIPER, and their trade-offs
Ability to architect scalable and maintainable mobile solutions
Experience mentoring and guiding other engineers
Familiarity with Android development and cross-platform technologies is a strong plus
Broader iOS development community participation, such as open-source contributions or conference presentations, is a plus
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and LLMs
