About the role

  • Gestionnaire du contrôle de projet pour un producteur d’énergie propre développant des projets éoliens, solaires et de stockage. Pilotage des coûts, calendriers, contrats, risques et rapports de projets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules and their underlying assumptions
  • Perform logical network planning and ensure alignment with project objectives and key milestones
  • Prepare progress reports, variance analyses, critical path analyses, and detailed schedules
  • Participate in the transition of projects from development to implementation and generation
  • Analyze schedule updates, performance indicators, and variances, and recommend corrective actions
  • Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders during schedule development
  • Research best practices and improve project controls processes, procedures, and tools
  • Train and mentor Project Controls Managers and project teams
  • Develop, implement, and maintain cost management programs and forecast costs using the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS)
  • Implement cost control processes and manage interfaces with finance and accounting teams
  • Perform quality control and analyze project controls deliverables
  • Administer contracts, track contractual obligations, and route documents for signature
  • Manage the project center and maintain project documentation, contracts, and change orders
  • Support project financing, due diligence, and tax equity/DSSA coordination
  • Prepare and publish project reports, dashboards, and summaries
  • Consolidate data and create charts and tables using Power BI or other software
  • Monitor the project team’s daily activities and close out action items
  • Establish and track cost, schedule, and risk KPIs; analyze variances between planned and actual performance
  • Assess the impact of scope changes on schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate with project managers, teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
  • Directly manage certain project components and, as needed, cross-functional teams, budgets, and external relationships

Requirements

  • At least five (5) years of experience in project controls management for capital-intensive infrastructure, power generation, or renewable energy projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, engineering technology, or a related field
  • Proficiency with project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and the MS Project Suite
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), change management, and risk management
  • Experience managing databases, dashboards, reports, and automations for project data analysis
  • Advanced understanding of project controls methodologies and techniques
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices in energy infrastructure
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other Office software
  • Proficiency in SQL or an equivalent database language
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrixed, multicultural organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Experience in the renewable energy sector preferred
