About the role

  • Azure Cloud Engineer building secure, automated Microsoft Azure platforms for ELITS Canada. Designing Terraform infrastructure, AKS environments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud governance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable Microsoft Azure cloud solutions in enterprise environments
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform
  • Build, manage, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service and related Kubernetes platforms
  • Develop and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications and infrastructure deployments
  • Establish and promote cloud architecture standards, automation frameworks, and governance practices across the Azure environment
  • Support development teams with cloud-native best practices, platform guidance, and secure deployment patterns
  • Strengthen platform reliability through monitoring, logging, observability, and proactive operational improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field
  • At least five years of relevant professional experience
  • Senior-level experience working with Microsoft Azure in complex enterprise environments
  • Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Very strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and Kubernetes administration in production environments
  • Strong background in software development and understanding of cloud-native engineering practices
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with identity and access management, secrets management, governance, monitoring, logging, and observability
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada
  • Candidates must be Canadian residents, including persons with a valid work permit in Canada
  • Strong analytical skills, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously, coordinate multiple tasks, and maintain quality results
