About the role
- Volumetric Accounting Analyst balancing crude oil movements and revenue for Enbridge’s liquids systems. Preparing invoices, journal entries, inventory reports, and regulatory submissions.
Responsibilities
- Verify, balance and record crude oil receipts and deliveries for specified assets
- Issue monthly invoices and statements to customers
- Compile journal entries for recording revenue and associated receivables
- Verify gain/loss calculations through communication with Customer Service, field personnel and Operations Services
- Provide government agencies with required monthly and annual regulatory reporting
- Prepare monthly inventory and other reports for internal and external customers
- Communicate with shippers, connecting pipelines and internal groups, including Customer Service, Operations Services, Asset Management and Business Development
Requirements
- A university degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution, or an equivalent combination of accounting or industry-related education
- 2 or more years of comparable proven experience
- Strong initiative and keen attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with personal computer productivity tools and standard business software
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Related experience in pipeline operations would be an asset
- Legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located without requiring sponsorship from Enbridge
- Final candidates may be required to undergo security screening, including a criminal records check
