About the role

  • Volumetric Accounting Analyst balancing crude oil movements and revenue for Enbridge’s liquids systems. Preparing invoices, journal entries, inventory reports, and regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities

  • Verify, balance and record crude oil receipts and deliveries for specified assets
  • Issue monthly invoices and statements to customers
  • Compile journal entries for recording revenue and associated receivables
  • Verify gain/loss calculations through communication with Customer Service, field personnel and Operations Services
  • Provide government agencies with required monthly and annual regulatory reporting
  • Prepare monthly inventory and other reports for internal and external customers
  • Communicate with shippers, connecting pipelines and internal groups, including Customer Service, Operations Services, Asset Management and Business Development

Requirements

  • A university degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution, or an equivalent combination of accounting or industry-related education
  • 2 or more years of comparable proven experience
  • Strong initiative and keen attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Familiarity with personal computer productivity tools and standard business software
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Related experience in pipeline operations would be an asset
  • Legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located without requiring sponsorship from Enbridge
  • Final candidates may be required to undergo security screening, including a criminal records check
